To ensure a personalized and tailored experience, we accept only one participant per day. This means you’ll have our undivided attention, and we can tailor the day to suit your interests and needs.
As an animal caretaker for a day, you’ll become an active part of the team. Among other things, you’ll help feed the animals and prepare their meals. This involves everything from cutting up fruits and vegetables to preparing special diets for some of our more finicky residents.
You’ll also have the opportunity to help clean the animal enclosures, which is an important part of the job as an animal caretaker. While you’re performing these tasks, our skilled animal caretakers will share interesting and fun facts about the different animals, their behavior, and their natural habitats.

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, as you’ll be spending most of the day outdoors and up close with the animals. It might get a little dirty, but that’s part of the charm of being a zookeeper for a day.
